- Working knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices
- Flexibility to work a rota between 7am–6pm, Mon–Fri (and beyond 6pm in emergencies)
- Enhanced DBS clearance
What We Offer
Sunny Days will cover the cost of your DBS check.
Refer a friend payment for recruitment – £250 – paid upon successful probation.
Monetary bonus for every 5 years of employment.

What you’ll be doing
No two days are the same at Sunny Days, but you can expect to:
- Help plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS.
- Be a key person for a small group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families.
- Keep children safe and happy by following safeguarding and health & safety practices, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Work closely with your team, sharing ideas and supporting each other to create the best environment for the children.
- Take care of our toys, resources and equipment so they’re always ready for little hands to explore.
- Step up to lead the room when needed, setting a great example for others and making sure things run smoothly.
- Stay curious and keep learning – with regular training and development to help you grow.
- Always treat children, families and colleagues with respect, kindness and professionalism.
